Passwords that start on your device
Generate random passwords with 8–64 characters, EFF passphrases with 5–8 words, or numeric PINs with 4–12 digits. Select character types, exclude similar characters, use a preset, or generate up to 100 results at once. Copy or export results as plain text. Rule links contain settings only, never generated passwords.
A place for temporary text
Edit up to 1 MiB of text, import UTF-8 files, format or compact JSON, trim whitespace and remove duplicate lines. Undo the last transformation or import. Inspect files up to 10 MiB, preview PNG/JPEG/WebP/GIF images and calculate their SHA-256 fingerprint. Nothing you type or select is uploaded by these tools.
Designed for one tab
There is no cloud storage, shared link, remote deletion, disposable email inbox, account sync or recovery service. A timer clears the scratchpad while the tab is running or when it resumes. Reloading also clears the scratchpad. It does not erase downloads or the system clipboard.
What you need
Use an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and Web Crypto. Clipboard permission is optional: you can select and copy text with your keyboard. Passphrases load the EFF word list from this site. Downloads and copied data are managed by your browser and operating system.
