This policy describes the browser tools currently available on Ephemera.

Your passwords, notes and files
Password results, scratchpad text and files selected for inspection are processed in your browser. The tools do not send that content to a server. Results and notes live in page memory. Closing or reloading the page removes them from the tool, but copies you download, paste or save elsewhere remain under your control.
Cookies and browser storage
The tool does not set cookies. Local storage remembers appearance, a workspace label and random-password settings only. It does not contain generated passwords, note text or selected files. You can remove these preferences using your browser’s site-data controls. The tools still work when preference storage is blocked. If you choose Prepare offline tools, a service worker caches public application files and the word list only. Notes, passwords, selected files and payment pages are not cached. Use Remove offline files to remove that app cache.
Page requests and clipboard permission
Loading the site requests page assets and, for passphrases, the EFF word list. A hosting service may receive the normal information in a web request, such as IP address and browser headers. This version has no analytics or advertising integration. Copy and paste operations use browser permission and run only after your action.
Data sale and sharing
Ephemera does not sell your tool content or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The tools do not upload it in the first place. Following an external link takes you to a separate service governed by its own policies.
Control over your content
Use Clear everything to remove the scratchpad and selected file from this page. Delete downloads, browser site data and clipboard entries separately if needed. This version does not maintain an account or a server-side archive of your tool content.
