Terms of use
These terms describe the tools currently available. They do not create a paid subscription or a purchase agreement.

Permitted use
Use the service lawfully, with content you have permission to process. Do not use it to gain unauthorised access, distribute unlawful material or infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for choosing passwords that meet the requirements of the service where you use them.
Copyright and content
You retain your rights in text and files you process. Processing them does not grant Ephemera ownership. Passphrases use the EFF large word list; attribution and the source link are available in the passphrase tool. Respect the rights and licences of third-party material.
Limitations and disclaimer
Ephemera is not a password manager, secure vault, backup or delivery service. Randomness does not protect a compromised device or a password reused elsewhere. Short PINs are for services that specifically require them. Save important results yourself. No tool can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability; applicable mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
Accessibility
Controls support keyboard focus, labelled inputs and native selection. Appearance can follow your system or use light or dark mode. Motion follows the reduced-motion preference. Browser zoom and manual copy remain available. Compatibility with every assistive technology has not been verified.
Paid offers
Purchases are not open. A future paid offer must state its price, currency, billing period, delivery, cancellation and refund terms before you pay. Browsing a pricing page does not place an order or authorise a charge.
